If Pearl Jam sang country……that’s what many hear in the voice of Jesse Allen.

With roots buried deep in the Midwest and a gritty voice with a rock flare, Jesse Allen is a new brand of country artist in Nashville. Borrowing sonic vibes from various country rock artists of today, 90s rock and country and even a little bit of Texas country; Allen has spent years building a sound that is unique and all his own. A sound rooted in his Midwestern middle class upbringing and songs that speak to normal, every day people like Allen.

Beginning in his home state of Iowa, Allen built his live show, songwriting chops and paid dues through countless hours of work over the last 10 years. He has appeared on many major festivals (such as Country Fest and Country Thunder Iowa) as well countless fairs, town celebrations , venues and opened for numerous major label acts.

Allen’s September 2021 single “Breaking Up These Days” gained over 100,000 streams in just three weeks and was featured on numerous playlists including Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” along with Apple Music’s “Best New Country” playlist. He has been featured in various publications including The Boot, UpStar Music, Whiskey Riff and many more.
